Purpose·Partner with sales teams to provide planning, analysis and decision support that delivers AOP volume, discount and A&P targets for the respective regions·Track and manage monthly spend versus budget on discounts and tactical·Identify and execute pricing opportunities in the local markets ·Provide ad hoc decision support for projects within the local markets·Support DC&E’s simplification agenda by developing ways to work smarter and more efficiently, focusing on key processes both internally and with our key external customers·Play an integral role in the planning process by providing sales and FP&A team support during the LE1, AOP and key monthly processes·Lead one of the following FP&A’s functional areas for the national business: pricing, planning, reporting, allocations and supporting the national accounts business

Complexity of Role ·Must be knowledgeable with Essbase, Mpower, Cognos, Visability Analytics, SAP·Must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and to develop relationships with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and DC&E’s broader leadership team

Key Outputs/Deliverables·Plan and forecast for at least two regional sales teams·Track monthly performance vs. plan on volume, discount spend and tactical spend·Identify and address key business issues in local markets·Build expertise in key systems and tools such as Mpower, Cognos, and SAP·Demonstrate advanced financial modeling and demand planning capabilities·Serve as an overall business partner to the business in delivering the plan, increasing simplicity, and developing the capabilities of the FP&A team

Experience ·Bachelors Degree, Finance or Accounting Preferred·5 to 7 years experience working in finance or accounting·MBA desired·CPG industry preferred, not required·High Systems Proficiency and Strong Excel Skills·Above average Leadership Capabilities required
